APPLICATION AND DURATION :
The general sales conditions apply to all purchases made on the Cartovelo website. They may be modified at any time and without prior notice. Before any transaction, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted them by checking “I have read the general conditions of sale”. The purchase of any products is strictly reserved for adults.
THE ORDER :
Order confirmation.
To let you know that we have received your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing the list of products ordered, the price including VAT, the carrier selected, the estimated delivery time and the invoice.
Cartovelo prepares your order within 72 working hours, subject to stock availability. Cartovelo reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a customer in the event of refusal by financial institutions or in the event of previous non-payment.
PRICES :
Product prices are indicated in Euros, inclusive of all taxes. They do not include delivery costs, which are indicated at the time of ordering according to weight and delivery method.
Prices are valid as long as the product is on line and until prices are modified. Cartovelo reserves the right to modify its prices without prior notice. The products will be invoiced on the basis of the tariff in force at the time of validation of the order.
METHOD OF PAYMENT :
- Payment by check
Payment accepted for France only.
If you pay by cheque, please send us your payment together with a downloadable order form, indicating your address. Your order will be sent to you as soon as we receive your payment.
- Payment by credit card
We accept payment by credit card. Your card will be debited as soon as your order is placed.
Bank details are transmitted via a secure link directly to the Crédit Agricole bank website.
The following cards are accepted by our payment system: Carte Bleue, Visa, EuroCard MasterCard.
Bank details entered by the buyer will not be stored on Cartovelo’s servers under any circumstances.
- Payment by bank transfer :
Authorized from any country (subject to bank agreement with France).
Your order will be sent only after receipt of payment.
- Payment by PayPal :
Authorized from any country (subject to bank agreement with France)
You can use PayPal to pay for your purchases. This use is free as long as it does not include currency conversion (Currency conversions). Your order will only be sent to you once payment has been received.
SHIPPING :
Shipping costs are calculated according to the weight of your order.
For orders over 30 kg, please contact us.
In the case of untracked shipments, we cannot be held responsible for lost parcels. We recommend that you file a claim with the post office.
Please note: For Switzerland, you will be required to pay Swiss VAT and customs tax on receipt of goods.
DELIVERY METHODS :
Lettre Suivie / Tracked letter: up to 2 Kilograms. A tracking number will be sent to you by e-mail when your order is dispatched. You can use this number to track the progress of your order on the La Poste website: https://www.laposte.fr/outils/suivre-vos-envois. To receive an alert concerning the progress of your parcel: Set up alerts
By Colissimo: up to 30 Kg. A tracking number will be sent to you by e-mail when your order is dispatched. You can use this number to track the progress of your order on the La Poste website: https://www.laposte.fr/outils/suivre-vos-envois. You will be notified by SMS or email when your parcel has been delivered to your letterbox or collection point.
By Chronopost: A tracking number will be sent to you by e-mail when your order is dispatched. You can use this number to track the progress of your order on your Cartovelo customer space or on the Chronopost website: https://www.chronopost.fr/fr/suivi-colis. You will be notified by SMS or email when your parcel is available.
DELIVERY TIME :
We undertake to dispatch your order within 72 hours working days, excluding delivery times. Delivery times are calculated in working days – Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are excluded from this calculation. We cannot be held responsible for delays, undelivered or lost packages. We invite you to contact the delivery service of your choice.
Lettre suivie / tracked letter : Up to 10 days
Colissimo: between 48 hours and 10 days
Chronopost: between 2 and 6 days
The delivery times indicated are the average times observed, however delivery times (particularly outside European countries) may be longer and are totally beyond our control.
We thank our customers for their understanding and advise them to take these delays into account, bearing in mind that no reimbursement can be made for such delays.
Damaged parcel : when collecting a parcel, it must be inspected. Both the exterior and the contents must be inspected, and reservations must be made if the product ordered is missing, incomplete or damaged. Precise reservations must be made, defining the missing products or damage on the delivery note directly upon delivery or collection of the parcel at a relay point. The customer will also have to indicate directly by email or telephone any defect of delivery. Cartovelo will file a claim with the carrier within a maximum of 3 days after the date of delivery / collection by the customer.
- In the event of absence at the time of the carrier’s visit, it is possible that your parcel will be dropped off at a relay point as close as possible to the initial delivery point.
- In the event of the return of an unclaimed parcel within the time limit, shipping costs will not be reimbursed.
RETURNS :
If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with a product you have ordered, the law allows you to return it to us within 14 days of receipt.
We will then refund the full amount of the item. Items must be returned to us in their original condition, and you will be responsible for return shipping costs. In the case of unclaimed parcels, the customer is responsible for shipping costs for a new shipment.
WITHDRAWAL
The customer has a period of fourteen (14) working days from the date of receipt of the goods to exercise his right of withdrawal by one of the following means:

The customer then has a period of 14 days following communication of his decision to withdraw to return the product(s) he has ordered. The product(s) must be returned in its (their) intact condition and original packaging, to the physical address (located in metropolitan France) that will be communicated by e-mail.
RESPIRE SARL does not cover the cost of returning the goods.
The purchaser is only liable for the depreciation of the good resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and proper functioning of the good.
The buyer will be informed by e-mail within seven (7) days of receipt of the return package, of the processing of his request. However, if the conditions are met, RESPIRE SARL will reimburse the buyer the total amount of his/her order, within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the products.
It should be noted that the refund is made by crediting the payment card used for the order, if this method of payment was used. If the purchaser has used a deferred debit card, the refund is only effective at the end of the month.

REFUND :
Cartovelo undertakes to make the refund within fourteen (14) days of the return of the products.
PROMOTIONS :
All offers (promotions, packs) proposed on the site are valid within the limits of available stocks and for the duration indicated in the promotion and cannot be combined with cartovelo.fr vouchers.
APPLICABLE LAW IN CASE OF DISPUTE :
In the event of a dispute with Cartovelo, the customer undertakes first to contact customer service either by telephone 05 49 76 92 56 or via the contact form, in order to seek an amicable solution. If no amicable agreement has been reached, the customer may refer the matter to the mediation service. The present general conditions of sale are subject to French law.
