This part of EuroVelo 8, also known as the "Mediterranean Route", stretches from Menton to Arles, following the Côte d'Azur with its magnificent sea views. This route passes through iconic towns such as Nice, Cannes, and Marseille, offering a unique blend of beaches, culture and history.
Cyclists can discover the Provencal landscapes, vineyards, and historic sites while enjoying the region's sunny climate. With its well-designed cycle paths, EuroVelo 8 (French part) is perfect for an unforgettable cycling adventure.
The route is divided into 6 main parts:
- Argelès-sur-Mer to Narbonne
- Narbonne to Sète
- Sète to Beaucaire
- Beaucaire to Manosque
- Manosque in Draguignan
- Draguignan to Menton
- 5 getaways to Perpignan, Montpellier, Arles, Arcs-sur-Argens and Grasse.
