The Velodyssee

The Vélodyssée is the French section of EuroVelo 1, the 9,100 km European cycle route that runs along the Atlantic from Norway to Portugal. The Vélodyssée itself has existed since 2013. Planning and implementation began in 2008. It is a collaborative project in which three regions and nine departments of France work together for sustainable tourism. The Vélodyssée is the longest cycle route in France, at 1,290 km.
